FAQs
What should I wear during the massage?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing or undress partially or completely, depending on your comfort level. You'll be draped with a sheet or towel during the massage for modesty and warmth. Communicate your preferences to your massage therapist for a comfortable experience.
Will the massage be painful?
The level of pressure used during the massage is tailored to your comfort and preference. While some techniques may cause temporary discomfort, it should not be painful. It's essential to communicate with your massage therapist throughout the session to ensure the pressure is appropriate for you. Your comfort and well-being are our top priorities.
Is there a cancellation policy?
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy for massage therapy appointments to ensure that our therapists' time is respected and to minimize disruption to our scheduling. When appointments are canceled at short notice or missed altogether, it can impact our ability to accommodate other clients who may be in need of treatment. Additionally, our therapists rely on a steady schedule to support their livelihood, and last-minute cancellations can result in lost income. By adhering to our cancellation policy, you help us maintain a smooth and efficient operation while also respecting the time and dedication of our therapists. Thank you for understanding and honouring our policy.
What forms of payment do you accept?
As a small business, we kindly ask that you note our payment policy. While we do not accept cash, we gladly accept other forms of payment commonly used in British Columbia, such as debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), and sometimes electronic payment methods like Interac e-Transfer. Additionally, many massage therapy clinics, including ours, offer the convenience of direct billing to insurance companies, provided the client's insurance plan allows for this option. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
How often should I get a massage?
How often you should get a massage depends on various factors, including your individual needs, lifestyle, and budget. For general wellness and relaxation, getting a massage once a month or every few weeks can be beneficial. If you're dealing with specific issues such as chronic pain, injury recovery, or high stress levels, you may benefit from more frequent sessions, such as once a week or every other week. It's essential to listen to your body and work with your massage therapist to determine a schedule that meets your needs and goals while considering any budget or time constraints you may have.
